New strategies that will enable the agricultural sector in ACP countries to address rural poverty more effectively need to be formulated. This was the main theme of a CTA/EC workshop attended by senior policy-makers and consultants drawn from several European and African countries. The discussions that tok place during the workshop are summarised in this report.
