Earthquake Waste Symposium Osaka, 12-13 June 1995 - Proceedings. In the aftermath of the Japanese Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, a symposium provided guidance on the management of large quantities of demolition wastes generated by natural disasters. The proceedings of this symposium -- organized by the Japan Waste Management Consultant Association (JWMCA) -- contain presentations of six experts from around the world. Concluding the report, findings and recommendations of the Symposium are summarised.
