Ten years ago, a group of forward thinking men and women created the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) to promote a different type of forestry research-research that would find solutions to the challenges facing our forests and those who use or depend on them.  Forests and People : Research that makes a difference highlights some of CIFOR's key achievements in its first decade of research.
