This bilingual publication is the report of two workshops held in 2007 in Tunis and in 2008 in Rabat. The purpose of the workshop was to conduct an inventory of the governance issues of the Mediterranean Sea, to search for solutions to current problems in order to provide support to national and inter-governmental decisions and policies, and influence the decision makers to adopt good governance approaches in the Mediterranean. The report covers: inventory of zones under state jurisdiction, biodiversity in the high seas, and current legal framework.
