This report builds largely on the need to engage with the financial sector in dealing with water related challenges, by providing a basic set of risk drivers linked to water scarcity, which can serve as a platform for identifying potential investment opportunities for mitigation, contributing to water sustainablilty. The report was enforced by the highly valuable comments and insights shared by invited guest to the UNEP FI- SIWI Roundtable held during World Water Week 2004.
