Tina and the Green City (French)

Carrots and Sticks for Starters, a joint report from the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and KPMG’s Global Sustainability Services, gives an overview and analysis of current trends and approaches in mandatory and voluntary standards for sustainability reporting and corporate responsibility.

Tina and the Green City is part of the Tunza Environmental Series for Children, sponsored by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). "Tunza" means " to treat with care of affection" in Kiswahili. UNEP hopes to inspire caring for the Earth through creative literature that sparks the interest and awareness of children, their parents and teachers.

Mangrove forests provide critical economic, social and ecological services for the existence of biophysical and socio-economic subsystems on earth, particularly for tropical mangroves that are rich in both floral & faunal biodiversity.

This Handbook is intended to enable national judges in all types of tribunals in both civil law and common law jurisdictions to identify environmental issues coming before them and to be aware of the range of options available to them in interpreting and applying the law.

This publication is designed to meet the demand for legal information and material, and serve as a source of reference of basic documents on international environmental law. The Environmental Law Branch of the Division of Policy Development and Law has provided support in the area of capacity building, including the production of publications on environmental law at both national and international levels.
