A reference document designed for use by ODS officers and legal officers in Article 5 countries responsible for structuring and drafting of regulations to control and eliminate the use of ODS. It provides a brief overview of the structure and strategies in existing ODS regulations, which encompasses all governmental directives of a legally-binding nature.

The information in this guide was compiled from interviews with members of the armed forces responsible for implementing programmes that comply with the Montreal Protocol. Additional information was obtained from military organizations taking part in a series of three international workshops on the role of the armed forces in implementing the Montreal Protocol.

A guide to the application of Cleaner Production to the meat processing industry, with a focus on the slaughtering of cattle and pigs at abattoirs. Its purpose is to raise awareness of the environmental impacts of meat processing, and to highlight approaches that industry and government can take to avoid or minimise these impacts by adopting a Cleaner Production approach.
