Replacements will be provided for the following reasons:

  • Goods damaged in transit
  • Goods judged as defective e.g. production errors
  • Receipt of the wrong item

If you wish to return goods please contact our customer services team at customerservices@earthprint.com within 30 days of receipt of your goods.

PRIVACY POLICY

When you use our site, we receive and collect certain information. The information that we receive and collect depends on what you do when you visit Earthprint.com.

Automatically Collected Information. Some information is automatically received and sometimes collected from you when you visit the Earthprint.com site. Information You Actively Submit to Earthprint.com. For most of the browsing services we provide, we neither require nor collect "Personal Customer Information" -- your name, email address, billing address, shipping address, phone number and credit card information. You can browse the Earthprint.com site and take as much time as you want to look at the books and publications we offer without having to submit such Personal Customer Information. Even when you use our shopping cart as you browse, there is no need to submit Personal Customer Information. However, when you want to complete an order, we do need you to actively submit Personal Customer Information.

1. Online Customer Security and Confidentiality
Earthprint Books Socket Layer (SSL) encryption is the standard industry level system to ensure the highest security for credit card and personal details submitted to us over the Internet.

2. Import and Customs Duty Charges
Rarely, books/goods for delivery outside of the EU are subject to import duties, taxes or both. These would be charged when the consignment reaches the country of destination. These charges in relation to customs clearance must be paid by the customer. Earthprint Books has no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance. Earthprint recommends that you check with your local customs officials or post office for more information regarding importation taxes/duties that may be applicable to your online order. Normally no charges are attracted by Books but sometimes are applied to digital material.

3. Discount Codes
Any discount codes issued through Earthprint marketing, or your own University, should be entered into the box marked 'voucher code' on the shopping basket page.
For items already on sale, additional discount will not be applied. Discount codes do not apply to any used book or eBooks offers unless specified.
Prices should be recalculated if you change the contents of your basket.
Postage and packing will be applied to each item in accordance with Earthprint Books standard UK or International delivery rates and policies.
Any offer is subject to availability and may be changed or withdrawn without notice by Earthprint Books at any time.

4. Privacy
Any information you give to Earthprint Books Ltd will not be distributed to any other company outside of the Earthprint Books Ltd or its sister companies, unless you give us your express consent. Earthprint Books Ltd recognises the concern of our customers regarding confidentiality and privacy of information and information you give to Earthprint Books Ltd is stored securely, and is not accessible to other users.

Earthprint collect customer data to process your order and provide you with the best possible customer service.

We will not e-mail you or pass your information to another trader unless you have given us your consent. In order to process your payment we may, however, provide financial information to our account processors (including Banks and such organisations). In addition, you may notify us if you do not wish to receive any further marketing information from us.

The type of information we will collect about you includes:

You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

All information is held securely in accordance with strict security policies and the current prevailing law.

We will need to transfer the correct information to our suppliers outside the UK to fulfil orders if your book is not available from our warehouse or suppliers in the UK .We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.

5. Contract
After purchasing a product from Earthprint Books, online, we will send you an e-mail confirming the details and a receipt of your order. Your online order is an offer to purchase a product and is accepted by Earthprint Books when we send you an e-mail confirmation. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed in a Despatch Confirmation E-mail to have been despatched, do not form part of that contract.

6. Legal Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are guaranteed by and constructed in accordance with English law with English courts having exclusive jurisdiction.

Any links within the Earthprint.com website will lead to websites not under control of Earthprint Books Ltd. These do not constitute any endorsement of any third party products or services and are provided solely for your convenience. Earthprint Books Ltd accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage you sustain by visiting these websites.

8. Pricing and Payment Options
Earthprint Books (Earthprint Books Ltd) displays prices on our website in £ (Pounds Sterling), € (Euro’s) and $ (US Dollars). It is also possible to pay on-line using Pay Pal and Sage Pay.

Our distribution policy aims to reduce our carbon footprint. We are committed to minimizing the environmental impact of our working practices through continual review of our operations and products. This means that packages are as light as possible, which lowers carbon emissions during transportation, and it that there is less packaging to be disposed off once it has arrived at its destination. We aim to reduce our waste as much as possible and to promote the recovery; recycling and reuse of our products by helping our customers understand the environmental effects of our products throughout their life cycle.

We respect our publisher’s environmental policies and endeavor to co-operate with them in order to ensure that we follow their policies as closely as possible and promote environmentally friendly methods to them.
